How much will clubs earn for playing and winning in the 2025-26 Champions League?
The 36 clubs competing in the league phase of the 2025-2026 Champions League will receive €18.62 million, plus an additional €2.1 million for each victory in this phase, and €700,000 for a draw.
For the current season, UEFA's distribution model dictates that clubs qualifying for the round of 16 will receive €11 million, and those reaching the play-off round will earn €1 million.
How much does the runner-up earn? And the champion?
Qualifying for the quarter-finals is worth €12.5 million per team, with progression to the semi-finals bringing an additional €15 million.
Reaching the final at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on Saturday, May 30, will see both clubs earn €18.5 million, with the eventual winners receiving an additional €6.5 million.
UEFA also provides a bonus for league phase qualification, which is distributed on a sliding scale. The lowest-ranked team will receive €275,000, while the highest-ranked team will earn €9.9 million.
Over €3 billion across European Competitions
UEFA has also allocated a total of €30 million for clubs participating in the preliminary rounds, including a fixed payment of €4.29 million for teams that are eliminated.
This season, the total prize money distributed among clubs across the Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, and European Super Cup amounts to €3.317 billion.
Of this, €2.467 billion (74.38%) is allocated to clubs competing in the Champions League and the Super Cup. A further €565 million (17.02%) goes to Europa League participants, and €285 million (8.6%) to those in the Conference League.
